What to do when your Disney Pass is blocked: Panic.
Trust me, as a lady who grew up in Southern California with an annual pass, I know the ownership that one can feel over Disneyland. It’s our home away from home. It’s our 2nd backyard. Our local park. Our favorite restaurant. Favorite date night. Best fireworks show in all the land. I get it.
I get it so much that when it came time for me to get my first job, I picked one where I would never encounter a blockout day again. I worked at the park itself. Oh the luxuries of it all! Getting to go there practically every single day!
Fast forward a couple years (8 to be exact). I no longer work at Disney. I have lived in different cities including New York City and Boise. The luxury of going to Disneyland whenever I please doesn’t exist anymore. So I’ve had to find alternates to the thing I love most to give me that sense of nostlagia. I hope my SoCal finds can help you out next time your pass is blocked. So don’t fret. Go on an adventure. Your pass will let you in again soon. In the meantime, there’s so much fun to be had! Here are my alternatives!
